Monty Seward — “Peace of Mind” & “All The Time” From His Fourthcoming Album Titled Love Again
Recording Artist Monty Seward Delivers a Pair of Smooth Jazz & Urban AC Delights with “Peace of Mind” & “All The Time” From His Forthcoming Album Titled LOVE AGAIN
Serene and soulful, smooth and sophisticated: all undeniable adjectives when describing the sounds and moods of Monty Seward’s “Peace of Mind,” the lead single from his 2018 release titled Love Again (Monty Seward Music/EMT/Orchard).
“Peace of Mind” is certain to become a staple at Smooth Jazz formats, while its follow-up, “All the Time,” with lead vocals by Seward, is on track to become a favorite at Urban Adult Contemporary stations. Love Again also features a stirring remake of New Edition’s “Can You Stand the Rain.”
Seward, a native of Los Angeles’ Gardena and Carson areas, and regular on the jazz festival circuit, is ecstatic about the release of his first full-length album. His first two solo projects, were EPs, the 2013 release of Only You, and the 2016 follow-up, All The Time.
“What we’re doing now is definitely different with the release of Love Again,” he says. “This is a full-length project, completely funded and supported by me and my label. I’m very excited about the music that I’ve written and produced, and we look forward to not only hearing it on the radio but performing it in front of the fans at venues, jazz festivals and more.”
Seward has collaborated, produced or performed alongside many of the biggest names in music. The list includes Diana Ross, the Jacksons, Deniece Williams, Bobby Brown, Johnny Gill, Tyrese, Kelly Clarkson, Narada Michael Walden, Lakeside, Regina Belle, and his longtime friend Howard Hewett. Seward produced and co-wrote on seven of Hewett’s albums, and co-produced the signature songs “Say Amen,” “Forever and Ever” and “Once, Twice, Three Times.”
Seward will be performing throughout the year in support of Love Again, with stops at the Smooth Jazz Brunch in Temecula, California (April 1); Midem in Cannes France (June 5-8, 2018); San Diego Jazz Festival (June 29-July 1), and with more dates to be announced.
